APGA started in 1984 which was our planning year and in May of 1985 we held our first gymkhana in Swan Hills. We have continued to grow every since and love the sport today the same as we did when we first started. We encourage everyone to be involved as it's not just for riders but for family's, friends and not forgetting our horses. We believe this is the one thing that all members of a family can be involved in and at the same time offer a fun competitive sport.

Gymkhana provides a strong horse loving community with 5 different timed events in a variety of different locations throughout the province.
